Statistical support

Plan the analysis before the data argue back.

A qualified biostatistician helps you choose tests, write the analysis plan, check the data, and interpret tables and figures. The aim is a result you can explain, not a p-value you can advertise.

Support includes

  • Selecting appropriate statistical tests
  • Planning the analysis before data collection
  • Data-quality checks and a clear analysis record
  • Interpreting results, tables, and figures
  • Reviewing statistical consistency and reporting

Send this, not the spreadsheet

  • The research question and the primary outcome.
  • The study design, inclusion rules, and what has already been collected.
  • Any analysis you have already promised in a protocol or ethics application.
  • The tables you hope to show, if you have them.
  • A de-identified extract only after the agreement allows it.

We will not add, drop, or switch analyses to force a significant result. If an unplanned analysis is useful, it is labelled as such.
